So I am gonna level with you. This chapter ended up being a cluster-cuss. I had ideas that didn’t correctly get through and despite having another few pages written and a loosely plotted ending, when I was told Beau had other work to do, I ended it by exploding the Earth. Which is canon. But here for posterity were the other pages.
Girl Jeff looks up at the sky viewing the laser blast
SFX
FWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
GIRL JEFF (THESE LETTERS SHOULD BE SMALLER, HARD TO MAKE OUT)
JEFF!!!!
The laser has stopped and Sweater Jeff waves, his hands and nose are red and steaming
SWEATER JEFF
Hey kiddo!
Girl Jeff angrily stares at Sweater Jeff who is smiling
GIRL JEFF
What was that? How come you survived?
SWEATER JEFF
because I am the heart of the god star!
We see a picture of a phoenix exploding from a planet along with an old desktop PC
TEXT
My home dimension was shattered when reality drift released the gods Phoenix and Tecnotron.
We see space dust surrounded by bright neon green energy
TEXT
but from the remains of the world I have lost, I was reborn as a living star!
We see Sweater Jeff in the green energy which is less intense
TEXT
and I was born a god!
We see Girl Jeff looking around blankly.
GIRL JEFF
Okay. And what now?
Girl Jeff stands face to face with Sweater Jeff, Girl Jeff looks angry, Sweater Jeff looks confused.
GIRL JEFF
Jeff. We were going to wait for money and you just shut a huge laser into space.
Girl Jeff grabs sweater Jeff’s shirt by the shoulders. Sweater Jeff looks like he is thinking.
GIRL JEFF
How are we going to get the money now?
Girl Jeff steps back, looking down a bit, her hands are semi balled into fists right now.
GIRL JEFF
This plan was just horribly thought. I mean we’ve most likely scared off anyone who was going to buy the stuff you stole.
Girl Jeff points to Andrew he is moping on the ground, sort of in a fetal position.
GIRL JEFF
And now we have crazy Andrew there who thinks I’m supposed to be in love with him.
We see the full moon has risen.
GIRL JEFF (OFFSCREEN)
We can’t stay in this world. I’ll probably die.
Sweater Jeff yawns and looks bored.
SWEATER JEFF
Oh come on. You are just freaking out a bit.
Girl Jeff points at the sky. The moon is a lot farther away.
GIRL JEFF
We moved away from the Moon! That is gonna have effects!
Girl Jeff punches Sweater Jeff in the face (the first just sort of sinks in)
SFX
POUNCH!
Girl Jeff’s arm recoils and flops backwards.
Andrew looks up from the ground, close up on his face.
Andrew tackles Sweater Jeff
ANDREW
YEAAAAAAAAGH!
Sweater Jeff looks angry (close up on his face)
Andrew is flying far into the air after Sweater Jeff pushed him with one arm.
We see from behind, Sweater Jeff shoots another high calibre arm laser in the direction of Andrew.
And then I figured that Andrew would end up killing Andrew and Girl Jeff would leave him and Sweater Jeff would just walk off with no real conclusion.
I was honestly unsure about where I was going with the story, it showed and I missed working with Joe. But I mean, this was my realization point and my trying to get it into comics because I am an idiot.
